Novoniel Deb has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Novoniel started their career as a Programmer and System Administrator at Pithampur Poly Products Ltd. in 1994. From there, they worked as an EDP Supervisor and System Administrator, Analyst and Programmer at UNITOP ENGINEERS PVT. LTD. where they developed software systems to increase efficiency across various departments.

In 1997, Novoniel became a Course Coordinator and Senior Faculty at ISCT, where they managed and taught courses. Novoniel then joined Logicsoft International Private Limited in 1999 as a Senior Engineer, specializing in System Integration. During this time, they gained expertise in Silicon Graphics Platform and Netscape Suitespot, and obtained an Iris Administrator Certification from Silicon Graphics.

In 2001, Novoniel joined vCustomer as a Technical Support and Shift Supervisor, providing customer support and training. Novoniel later moved to Team Computers as a Site In-charge for IT support at Polaris Software Lab, and eventually took on roles as Head COE for Business Intelligence/Data Analytics and Corporate IT Head, overseeing analytics, data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Novoniel was also responsible for managing infrastructure and applications.

From 2018 to 2020, Novoniel worked at Quosphere as a Senior Program Manager, where they provided BI solutions and dashboard designs, managed projects, and ensured customer satisfaction.

Currently, Novoniel is serving as the BI Practice Head at Pragmasys Consulting LLP, leading a smart and creative team to deliver solutions that drive business agility, provide effective insights, and meet the changing dynamics of the business landscape.

Throughout their career, Novoniel has worked with various notable clients such as Mahindra and Mahindra, ABG, Mercedes, HDFC Bank, SBI, Ritu Kumar, Canon, Benetton, and more, providing detailed insights and helping them improve their business performance.

Novoniel Deb has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended the National Institute of Information Technology and obtained a DSM degree in Systems Management. In 1999, they studied at IIS Infotech and completed The Webmaster PGD degree in Web designing and programming. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and earned a BCom degree in Commerce. Their earlier education was at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1987 to 1992, where the degree name is unspecified but their field of study was Commerce. Finally, Novoniel attended Shishu Mandir from 1977 to 1983, but no degree or field of study was mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Novoniel Deb has acquired several certifications. This includes the Qlik Sense System Administrator certification from Qlik obtained in May 2020, the Business Analysis Certification from Udemy Academy obtained in April 2020, Master Data Management certification from Udemy Academy also obtained in April 2020, Understanding Data Quality and Reference Data Management certification from Udemy Academy obtained in April 2020, Machine Learning A-Z (Python and R) certification from Udemy Academy obtained in July 2018, Data Science A-Z certification from Udemy Academy obtained in June 2018, QlikView System Administrator Certification from Qlik obtained in February 2016, and Irix System Administration certification from SGI obtained in April 1999.
