Shane Ryan is an experienced professional in the field of information security and consulting, currently serving as Practice Director at Praetorian since June 2021, after previously holding the position of Practice Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Global Practice Lead - Application Security and EVP of Professional Services - North America at BSI from April 2016 to May 2021, as well as EVP of Professional Services - North America and Senior Security Consultant at Espion, a BSI Professional Services Company, from August 2012 to April 2016. Earlier career positions include IT Auditor at Mazars Ireland and Data Input Technician at Smyths Toys. Shane also gained experience as a QA/Localisation Tester at McAfee in 2009. Educational background includes a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Information and Network Security and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Multimedia and Computer Games Development from the University of Limerick.
