Ian Spiro is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in security engineering, risk management, and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as Principal Security Engineer at Praetorian since July 2020, Ian provides deep security expertise to help organizations address complex cyber challenges. Previously, Ian acted as Principal Consultant for Cybersecurity Risk and Assurance at Wipro Technologies, where responsibilities included leading AppSec initiatives. Ian also founded Spiro Blockchain Security and held key roles at Synopsys Inc, focusing on secure software development and distributed ledger technologies. Ian's career includes leadership positions at Vermont Secure Computing, IBM, and Ounce Labs, alongside a notable start in snowboarding with Burton Snowboards. Ian holds dual degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, both earned with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Vermont.
