Yasmin Lucero is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Solv. since May 2022 and a Coach at BestPracticer since September 2021. Yasmin has a robust background in software engineering, specializing in building NLP-intensive data pipelines at WhoCo since February 2020. Previously, Yasmin held the position of Director of Engineering at Dia&Co from March 2017 to January 2020 and served as a Director of Data and Machine Learning Engineer at Gravity.com between January 2013 and March 2017. Early career roles include Senior Statistician/Data Scientist at Signal to Noise Consulting and Statistical Modeling in the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Center, focusing on endangered salmon populations. Yasmin completed a PhD in Ocean Sciences at UC Santa Cruz (2002-2007) and holds a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic (1995-1999).
