J. Guillermo Lopetegui Delgado has extensive experience in the banking and consulting industries. J. Guillermo started their career at Banco Santander Santiago in 1998, where they served as the Managing Director of Commercial Channels. J. Guillermo then moved to Banco Santander Mexico in 2002, taking on various executive director roles focused on cash management, payrolls, international trade, and innovation. In 2009, they joined Banco Santander PR in the USA as the Senior Executive Vice-President, overseeing comprehensive commercial operations and subsidiary units. Lopetegui then returned to Banco Santander Mexico in 2011 as the Executive Director, leading cash management, transactional banking, leasing, factoring, and confirming, while also driving innovation. In 2017, they gained experience in business research in Asia, focusing on new technologies and trends. Lopetegui joined Practia Global in 2019 as the Chief Strategy Officer and International Head BMI, responsible for developing consulting solutions and strategies for digital transformation. J. Guillermo also served on the Board of Directors for Practia Peru and Practia Chile.
J. Guillermo Lopetegui Delgado's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Engineering, focusing on strategy, business, sales, marketing, management, and processes. In 1999, they obtained a certificate in Corporate Strategy from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. In 2000, they received a certificate in International Management & Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Lopetegui Delgado continued their education by pursuing a Master's in Marketing and Commercial Management at ESEM in Madrid, Spain. This program covered various aspects of business, marketing, channel distribution, sales, and business innovation. Additionally, they completed a postgraduate program in Strategic Sales Management at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago, Chile, which focused on commercial strategy, sales management, and distribution channels strategy.
In 2019, Lopetegui Delgado attended Columbia Business School where they obtained a certificate in Digital Marketing, specifically in loyalty, planning, and analytics. J. Guillermo also completed an Executive Education Program in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at Imperial College Business School in the UK in 2022.
Lopetegui Delgado has further expanded their knowledge by completing various certificates and programs. These include a certificate in Business English from Oxford International English in the UK and a certificate in International Strategy from their alma mater, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, specializing in strategy, international business, innovation, and organic and inorganic growth.
In 2023, Lopetegui Delgado attended Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez once again and obtained a certificate in Formación de Directores de Empresa, focusing on executive leadership education.
