Nicholas Mejia is an accomplished designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as Senior Designer for Runway at Prabal Gurung, LLC since November 2022, Nicholas has led the design and execution of the Fall/Winter 2023 runway show. Prior to this role, Nicholas contributed to AREA as a Designer for Women's Ready-to-Wear, and held the position of Associate Designer for Women's RTW at DEREK LAM 10 CROSBY. Nicholas also specialized in leather goods as a Designer at Marc Jacobs from 2015 to 2019, working on handbags, small leather goods, and accessories. Earlier experiences include a Design Internship at Proenza Schouler. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Parsons School of Design and an Associate of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
