Karla Watson is a clinical trial manager at PPD, with a progressive career in clinical research that includes roles as a senior clinical research associate and clinical research associate, starting in February 2021. Previously, Karla worked at ICON plc as a clinical research associate from April 2018 to January 2021, and gained academic experience as a postgraduate student at the University of Pretoria in 2017. Additionally, Karla has been a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society since January 2018 and held the position of brand ambassador at The Creative Counsel from September 2013 to December 2016. Karla holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (2016) from the University of Pretoria.
