Mahesh Sathe has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Mahesh is currently working as the VP of Applications Engineering at Powin since November 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Hitachi Energy, including being the Global Solutions Manager and Director of Technology and Technical Sales. In these roles, their responsibilities included leading teams, establishing relationships with partners, and designing and delivering product solutions for the Battery Energy Storage system. Before Hitachi Energy, Mahesh worked at Hitachi ABB Power Grids as a Product Manager and Senior Technical Sales, where they contributed to the growth of Automation Systems, Microgrid projects, and Battery Storage systems. Mahesh also held positions at ABB and Siemens Canada Limited, where they worked as a Technical Project Manager and Business Development Manager respectively. Mahesh's early career included roles at ABB Inc., ABB, GE Energy, and Thomson Technology, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, and engineering.

Mahesh Sathe attended Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
