Rory Godson is a highly experienced communications professional currently serving as Senior Managing Director at Sodali & Co since September 2023. As the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Powerscourt, a distinguished communications consultancy with a presence in London and Dublin since January 2004, Rory has led the firm to multiple awards and accolades. In addition to these roles, Rory has been the Chair of The Ireland Funds Great Britain since May 2018, promoting philanthropy among the global Irish community. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Corporate Affairs at Goldman Sachs and as Business Editor for The Sunday Times, where Rory managed editorial content and led an award-winning team during a pivotal time for print journalism. Additionally, Rory was the Managing Editor of New Media and Ireland Editor for The Sunday Times, significantly expanding the Ireland Edition's operations and sales. Earlier roles include Chief Correspondent for the Sunday Independent. Rory holds a degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
