Akshay Kumawat is a design professional with extensive experience in product design and leadership across several prominent companies. Currently serving as a designer at Powerplay since July 2024, Akshay previously held the position of Senior Product Designer - II at Jupiter from September 2022 to June 2024, and as a Senior Product Designer at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) from June 2020 to September 2022, where contributions included designing user experiences for various financial products. Earlier roles include Product Designer at Cleartrip.com, where Akshay led a redesign of hotel products, and Design Head at Mobile Development Group IIT Roorkee, overseeing multiple design initiatives and mentoring junior designers. Akshay began the design journey with internships at Ola and Credihealth during academic tenure at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering was earned.
