Eric Ofiara is a seasoned software development professional with over 30 years of experience in the utility and aerospace industries. Currently serving as Lead Software Developer at PowerPlan, Inc. since February 2022, Eric specializes in developing enterprise tax and accounting solutions as well as leading development teams as a Scrum Master. Prior to this, Eric worked as a Senior Advisory Software Architect at Hitachi Energy, focusing on cloud-based enterprise applications. During a 20-year tenure at ABB, Eric developed critical plant shift operations software for power generation clients. Eric began a career in software development at Computer Management Sciences, Inc., working on various projects with notable companies such as Lockheed Martin and Pratt & Whitney. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University.
