Derek Steward is an experienced project engineer with a background in managing complex projects and providing effective solutions within the engineering and swimming coaching industries. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Power/mation since February 2023, Derek focuses on reviewing electronic solutions and providing cable assemblies. Derek has a long tenure at LIFETIME FITNESS, where a role as a Master's Swim Coach and Swim Coach includes developing swimming techniques and coordinating training for a team of over 30 adult swimmers. Previous positions include Project Manager roles at Total Tool Supply, Inc. and LOVEGREEN, where responsibilities encompassed streamlining sales processes and specializing in overhead material handling. Prior engineering experience includes managing multiple jobs and designing cost-effective solutions at J&B Equipment Company, Inc., along with roles at BS&B Safety Systems and Valmont Industries focused on technical sales and product design. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
