Chris Grobler is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a career spanning over two decades in the energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Project Commissioning Manager at Powerlink Queensland since September 2017, Chris also holds the position of Associate at 1133 Consulting Pty Ltd, providing RPEQ Electrical Engineering Services. Previous roles include Senior Engineer (Secondary Systems) at Consolidated Power Projects Pty Ltd, Lead Substation Design Engineer at SMEC, and Circuitry Design Manager at Energex, among others. Chris began a professional journey at Eskom, South Africa's largest electricity utility, and has extensive expertise in substation design, renewable energy, and project management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pretoria and Post Graduate Engineering Studies from Queensland University of Technology.
