Clare Moore

Director, Design & Delivery at Powerhouse

Clare Moore has extensive work experience in various roles within the architecture and project management fields. In their most recent position as the Director of Design & Delivery at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, they are responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of projects. Prior to this, Clare worked as a Senior Project Manager at Taronga Conservation Society Australia, where they led the successful delivery of the Savannah Precinct project, receiving recognition for Best Public Space. Clare also managed stakeholder engagement and community consultation efforts for the project. Before that, Clare served as the Lead Project Manager for the Water Park at the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, where they oversaw the completion of the Aquatics Centre and Water Polo Arena. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Architect at Assael Architecture, focusing on large-scale mixed-use projects and collaborating with planning committees and public feedback forums. Clare started their career as a Graduate Architect at Group GSA and gained valuable experience as a Student Architect at Henning Larsen Architects.

Clare Moore obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from the University of Sydney between 2005 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Architectural Design B.Des. degree from the same university from 2001 to 2003. Clare's education began at Queenwood in 1988, although specific degrees or fields of study are not mentioned for this period.
