Ingo Schönberg has a diverse work experience in the energy and technology industry. Ingo is currently serving as the Deputy Chairman of VDE FNN Forum Netztechnik/Netzbetrieb since April 2021. Previously, they held positions in ZVEI e.V. as a member of the board in the Energy Technology Department and the General Board starting from August 2017. In 2001, they founded Power Plus Communications and served as CEO and Shareholder. Prior to that, they worked at MVV Energie AG as the Manager of Strategy, R&D, and Services from September 1996 to July 2001. Ingo began their career at Fraunhofer UMSICHT, where they served as the Head of Energy from October 1990 to September 1996.

Ingo Schönberg attended TU Dortmund University from 1984 to 1990, where they pursued a degree in Verfahrenstechnik (Process Engineering) and received a Dipl-Ing degree.
