Manish Kumar Jha started their career in 2007 as a Project Officer at The Tata Power Co. Ltd., where they managed project engineering at a coke-oven gas-based Power Plant. In 2009, they interned at KPMG Advisory, focusing on research for Solar-Wind Hybrid Systems. Since 2010, they have been with Power Finance Corporation Ltd., starting as Assistant Manager and currently serving as Chief Manager. In this role, they have been involved in project appraisal, project finance, and advisory tasks.

Manish Kumar Jha completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur in 2007. Manish Kumar then pursued a PGDM in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Shillong from 2008 to 2010. Manish Kumar later obtained a Master of Business Law (MBL) degree in Business Law from National Law School of India University from 2015 to 2017.
