Shoaib Hussain is a PhD candidate in Electrical & Software Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. Shoaib's research focuses on managing grid operation and planning uncertainty in the presence of behind-the-meter resources. Shoaib also works as a Co-Instructor for ENEL584- Electrical Power Systems In Commercial & Institutional Buildings. Shoaib is involved in various programs such as IEEE Power & Energy Society, NSERC CREATE IISC, and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic where Shoaib has experience as a lecturer. Shoaib's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Energy Systems and Artificial Intelligence, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
