Grant Phillips has held a variety of roles since 2016. Grant began their career as a Scenario Training Assistant at the Oregon Department of Justice. In 2017, they were a Groundskeeper at Hidden Creek Polo Club, a Study Abroad student at Westminster College, and a Team Captain on the NCAA DII Men's Lacrosse Team at Westminster College. In 2018, they were a Business Planning Intern at Wasatch Community Gardens, a Marketing Consultant at Diabetes Education Institute, and a Select Team Coach at True Lacrosse. In 2020, they were a Powell Team Sales NW Representative at Powell Lacrosse. In 2019, they founded Meshed Market. Most recently, in 2021, they accepted a position as the Director of Operations at Portland United Lacrosse Club Inc.

Grant Phillips attended Westminster College from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business.
