Claus Madsen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the energy and automation sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Hitachi Energy since October 2021, Claus also holds the position of Chairman of DI Energi at DI - Dansk Industri since 2015 and Chairman of the Board at PJM A/S since May 2020. Previous roles include Managing Director at Hitachi ABB Power Grids from January 2020 to October 2021 and Managing Director at ABB from 2001 to June 2020, where Claus further contributed to the Wind Power Sector and served as General Manager in various capacities. Claus's early career involved leadership roles at ABB from 1990 to 2000, specializing in automation and test systems for the automotive industry. Claus holds degrees from the Faculty of Engineering and Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, further enhancing expertise in industrial marketing.
