Dr. Margaret Reidy is the chief medical officer of UCHealth, Colorado’s Front Range health system comprised of leading community hospitals and the region’s top academic medical center. She serves as the liaison between providers and system administration to ensure that the highest standards of quality clinical care and service for patients are maintained. She also leads efforts to develop innovative, high-quality and cost-effective treatments across the system.
Most recently, Dr. Reidy served as Chief Medical Officer, Revenue Cycle at UCHealth with oversight of Care Management, Social Work Services, Post-Acute Care, Physician Advising, Transfer Center and Medicaid strategies.
Prior to joining UCHealth, Dr. Reidy served as the Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital and Senior Medical Director for Corporate Care Management for UPMC Health System. She also served as the President of UPMC Rehabilitation Network, Vice President for Medical Affairs at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Medical Director for Collaborative Care management at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital, Vice President for Medical Affairs UPMC Passavant Hospital and as the Chief Medical Officer at UPMC Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Reidy is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and her clinical practice specialized in rehabilitation of Traumatic Brain Injury, Neurosurgical and Transplant patients. She held appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and is currently Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
