Russell C Brown's work experience includes being self-employed as an author, education activist, TEDx organizer, and retired educator since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a high school social studies teacher for Poudre School District since 1993.

Russell C Brown has a strong educational background focused on curriculum and instruction. Russell C obtained a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985-1989. Russell C also completed an additional Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the same institution during the same time period. In terms of certifications, Russell holds a License Teacher-Secondary Social Studies from the Colorado Department of Education.
