Jenna Vallejo has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy from 2004 to 2006. During this time, they advanced to become the assistant supervisor of the Readiness Clinic and conducted private patient interviews for service members transitioning into the civilian sector.

After leaving the Navy, Jenna worked as a Medical Assistant at Kellum Medical Group from 2007 to 2008. Here, they conducted meetings with Texas Medicaid officials, performed clinical duties, managed medication refill requests, and ran in-house laboratory tests.

From 2008 to 2010, Jenna worked as a Medical Assistant-Charge Nurse at Gonzaba Medical Group. Jenna managed a fast-paced urgent care clinic, overseeing patient flow, providing direct patient care, and assigning duties to staff during shifts.

In 2010, Jenna joined QTC Management, a Lockheed Martin Company, as a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist. Jenna maintained contractual relationships with medical providers and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Jenna managed priority cases, ensured timeliness and quality by providing feedback and training, and supported a mini-team.

Most recently, Jenna served as the Chief Operating Officer at Potomac Pediatrics since 2013. In this role, they oversee day-to-day operations, leads a team of 50+ employees, identifies areas of improvement, develops and implements policies and procedures, and provides visionary leadership.

Jenna Vallejo completed their education at three different institutions. In 2004, they attended the United States Navy Hospital Corpsman School, where they studied medicine. From 2010 to 2012, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Sociology.
