Sarah Palmer, P.Geo., is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in impact assessment, permitting, and community consultation. Currently serving as the Director of Environment and Community Consultation at Potentia Renewables Inc. since March 2022, Sarah's previous roles include Canadian Lead Federal Impact Assessment and Permitting Project Manager at AECOM, as well as North American Practice Lead for Permitting & Approvals at Advisian. With a background in managing complex environmental assessments and consultations across various sectors such as power, mining, and infrastructure, Sarah has built strong relationships with governmental bodies and Indigenous communities. Additional expertise includes roles at Capital Power Corporation, the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers' Association, and earlier positions as a Hydrogeologist at multiple firms. Sarah holds an H.BSc. in Geology from McMaster University and has furthered professional development through Toastmasters.
