Michele Charles, CMA has held various roles throughout their work experience. Michele began their career as a Financial Analyst at Manulife Financial in 2003 and then moved on to become a Senior Financial Analyst at General Mills in 2006. In 2008, they joined BlackBerry where they held multiple roles including Sr. Financial Analyst, Manager of Finance Sales FP&A, Senior Manager of Pricing Finance, Director of Strategic Negotiations, and Director of Corporate Sourcing and Contract Services. In 2020, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at St John's Kilmarnock School. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis at Postmedia Network Inc.

Michele Charles, CMA, holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. Michele also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. In 2021, Michele Charles enrolled in Dalhousie University to pursue a Certificate in Blockchain, Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency. Additionally, they are affiliated with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), where they earned their CMA designation.
