Bob Pruden is a seasoned professional in labour relations and human resources, currently serving as Vice President of Labour Management Strategy at Postmedia Network Inc. since July 2010. Previously, Bob held the position of Vice President of Labour Relations at Canwest, where responsibilities included corporate labour relations strategy for broadcasting and publishing operations. Additionally, Bob worked as Chief of Human Resources and Corporate Services for the City of Winnipeg, overseeing HR activities for 8,500 employees. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Labour Relations for the Government of Manitoba Treasury Board, managing labour relations for over 20,000 employees in various Crown corporations. Bob also contributed as an instructor and consultant for organizations such as CIDA, CESO, and the Centre for Labour Management Development, focusing on human resource training, conflict resolution, and labour relations. Academic involvement includes teaching certified programs at the University of Manitoba across multiple locations.
