Amanda Boughey has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2007 as a Summer Intern at Visual Numerics, Inc. (now Rogue Wave Software), where they worked as a QA Software Product Tester. Amanda then became a Journalism Intern at Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, where they created and edited presentations, marketing materials, website content, and email campaigns. Amanda served as a Contributing Editor for the membership magazine during their time there.
In 2009, Amanda joined Bonfils Blood Center as a Recruitment Specialist for the Colorado Marrow Donor Program. Their responsibilities included building and maintaining relationships with businesses and organizations to recruit new registered marrow donors through donor drives. Amanda also worked with potential marrow donor matches to assess their donation interest and guide them through the next steps.
From 2012 to 2013, Amanda worked as a Test Evaluator at Kelly Services. Amanda then moved on to Rogue Wave Software, where they held multiple positions. As a Marketing Coordinator, their role included media contact, developing PR pitches, and cultivating relationships with editors. Amanda also participated in analyst relations and trained internal spokespeople on media interactions. Later, as a Content Communications Manager, Amanda managed media relationships, oversaw public relations, and executed marketing campaigns across various channels.
In 2017, Amanda joined VictorOps, Inc. as a Content Marketing Manager. Their responsibilities included executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, overseeing public and analyst relations strategies, managing customer marketing efforts, and focusing on high-value case studies.
Amanda then worked at KIOSK Information Systems in 2018 as a Digital Marketing & Media Relations Manager. In this role, they produced content across various channels, optimized organic and paid search opportunities, led media outreach and press releases, and managed media training.
In 2019, Amanda joined Magnite as a Senior Product Marketing Manager for the SpotX and SpringServe platforms. Amanda led the go-to-market strategy, managed a team of entry-level product marketers, and created marketing collateral. Amanda also developed the marketing strategy for more than 100 product releases and mentored their team on successful product marketing and GTM campaigns.
From 2021 to 2023, Amanda worked at Yieldmo as a Senior Director of Product Marketing. In this role, they acted as a subject matter expert and translated complex information into compelling product narratives. Amanda owned the product marketing strategy and execution for a defined set of products and developed marketing collateral to convey the value of ad tech products.
Currently, Amanda is the Director of Product and Content Marketing at Postie, where they oversee product and content marketing strategies.
Amanda Boughey holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical Journalism and Public Relations from Colorado State University. In 2014, they obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance. No specific start or end year is given for their education at Colorado State University.
