David Shaw is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and technology sectors. Serving as Chairman and former Owner at Postec, Inc. since May 1987, David specializes in strategic planning, sales forecasting, and marketing. In addition, David holds the position of President and CEO at the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association, a role commenced in January 2014, and is an active member of HFTP since 1977. David also managed Postec Ventures III, focusing on cloud-based software solutions for large enterprise food service providers, from 2011 to January 2020. Earlier roles include Director of Marketing Hospitality for Sweda, where David was involved in product development for hotel front desk and food & beverage systems, and Regional Sales Manager at Mobydata PMS Systems, selling hospitality software. Educational background includes an AA in Hospitality Management from Daytona State College and studies at Oglethorpe University.
