Kristi Yamaoka has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kristi started their career in 2008 as a Foster Care Case Worker at Bethany Christian Services, where they handled caseloads, conducted home visits, and provided supportive services to families.

From 2012 to 2015, Yamaoka worked at Northwestern University as a Graduate Student Coordinator, managing the graduate program and implementing new systems. Kristi also served as a Program Assistant, handling administrative duties and organizing department events.

In 2016, Yamaoka joined Appco Group North America as a Direct Sales Team Lead, Training Manager, and Field Representative. Their responsibilities included fundraising, training and managing a team, and acquiring donors through event sales.

Since 2018, Yamaoka has been working at Positive Coaching Alliance. Kristi started as a Partnership Manager- Out of Territory and later became a Midwest Regional Partnership Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Partnership Manager, Midwest, where they manage partnerships and drives business growth.

Overall, Yamaoka has demonstrated skills in management, sales, fundraising, customer service, event planning, and coordination.

Kristi Yamaoka pursued their education in a methodical manner, focusing on two significant milestones in their academic journey. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Grand Valley State University, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Continuing their scholarly pursuits, Kristi then enrolled at Northwestern University from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Sport Administration, delving into the intricate field and expanding their knowledge in this area. These two educational experiences provided Kristi Yamaoka with a solid foundation and expertise in both Social Work and Sport Administration.
