Kristin Bott has extensive experience in data science education and instructional technology, currently serving as Manager of Data Science Mentors and Data Science Educator at Posit PBC since November 2021. Previously, Kristin worked at Reed College for a decade, where roles included Consultant and Associate Director of Instructional Technology Services, focusing on curriculum development and faculty support in data and spatial analysis. Earlier positions included educational roles at OMSI and The Street Trust, where Kristin coordinated STEM activities and managed database systems, respectively. Kristin holds a Graduate Certificate in GIS from Portland State University and a Master of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Montana.
