Kristina Howard has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Chief Academic Officer for Portland Public Schools since July 2018, after holding various roles including Interim Chief Academic Officer and Senior Director of Teacher Professional Learning. Prior to this, Kristina served as Principal at Green Dot Public Schools and held leadership positions as Assistant Principal at Round Rock ISD and Dallas Independent School District. Kristina began a career in education as a Math Teacher and later assumed the role of Math Instructional Coach at Round Rock ISD. Kristina holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Oakland University.
