Emily Linnertz, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the HR Senior Manager for Classification & Compensation at Portland Public Schools since January 2021. Previously, Emily held several positions in employee and labor relations within the same district, and accumulated experience as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Willamette Valley Medical Center. Earlier roles include HR Benefits Specialist at Children's Home Society of Washington and HR & Operations Manager at Bulk FR8 LLC. Emily has also contributed to youth programs as the Leadership Development Director for YMCA of Greater Seattle and served as the Sports, Recreation, and Camp Director at Greater Hartford YMCA. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Kinesiology, and Exercise Science from the University of Vermont and a SHRM-CP certification in Human Resources Management from Seattle Research Partners.
