Steven Weiss is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation with a focus on Labor and Employment at PORTER SCOTT since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Law Clerk at Caltrans and various positions within the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Criminal Law Fellow. Additional legal experience encompasses a Summer Law Clerk position at the City of Sacramento's City Attorney's Office and a Summer Legal Internship with the California Department of Public Health. Steven Weiss has also engaged in public policy through internships with NextGen Policy and the California State Assembly, as well as legislative experience in the U.S. Senate. Steven received a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Politics, Acting, and History from New York University.
