Volker Tietz is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management. As Chief Technology Officer at portagon GmbH since January 2021, Volker established the Engineering & Product department, expanding the team from two to 18 through strategic hiring across various roles. Prior to this, Volker served as a Senior IT Architect at MaibornWolff GmbH and held positions including Senior Software Engineer at XING and Software Engineer at M-Way Solutions GmbH. Volker's career began at IBM, and academic qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Media from Stuttgart Media University. Currently, Volker is also a member at alphalist since September 2023.
