Michael Hynes is currently the superintendent of the Port Washington Union Free School District. Prior to their current position, they were a speaker at TEDx, the superintendent of schools for the Patchogue-Medford School District, and the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for the Plainedge School District. Michael has also been an adjunct assistant professor at Dowling College and a superintendent of schools for the Shelter Island School District.
