David Sinnott is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the optical and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at the Port of Waterford since October 2022, David previously held key positions at Carl Zeiss Vision International GmbH, including Vice President of Product Management from October 2015 to October 2022, and Director of Global Business Integration from November 2011 to September 2015. David began the career at Carl Zeiss Vision as Supply Chain Director, a position held from June 1986 to January 2011. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from Maynooth University, earned between 1983 and 1986.
