Toshiko Grace Hasegawa serves as Vice President at the Port of Seattle since January 2022, overseeing operations at the nation's fourth largest container port. In addition to this role, Hasegawa holds board positions with DENSHO and JACL Seattle, organizations focused on preserving the history of Japanese American incarceration during World War II and advancing civil rights, respectively. As Executive Director of the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs, Hasegawa provides guidance on policies impacting Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Previous experience includes serving as Communications Manager for the King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight and Legislative Aide for the Metropolitan King County Council. Hasegawa holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice focused on Investigative Criminology and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Spanish Language and Literature from Seattle University.
