CHARLES Labitan is an experienced professional in business development and marketing, currently serving as the Manager of Business Development and Marketing at the Port of San Francisco since June 2022. Prior to this role, CHARLES has been a self-employed contractor since February 2019, advising companies on port-related business strategies. Previous positions include Vice President of Business Development at Comhear, Inc., where CHARLES focused on the commercialization of 3D immersive audio technology, and Business Development Manager for World Campus Corporate Alliances at Penn State University, where CHARLES launched the university's online education platform on the West Coast. With a robust background in economic development at various organizations, notably at the Port of San Diego as Trade Development Manager, CHARLES has a proven track record of driving regional economic growth and international trade.
