Johan Gille currently serves as a member of the board for the Nederlandse Vereniging van Binnenhavens and has been a programma manager scheepvaart at the Port of Rotterdam since April 2017, overseeing integrated inland shipping developments. Previously, Johan held various roles at Ecorys from June 2000 to March 2017, including business developer for Global Practice Connectivity and senior consultant, managing a team focused on freight transport policy. Johan also has experience as a policy advisor at the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat and as a research trainee at TNO. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Science & Policy from Utrecht University, a Master's in transport economics and risk management from Delft University of Technology, and a certificate in French from IJssel College.
