Dorus Bakker is currently the Director of Finance at Porthos, a role assumed in May 2023, while also serving as a Project/Programme Manager for the Port of Rotterdam since September 2018. In this capacity, Dorus Bakker is a Steering Committee member for the Porthos project, focused on transporting COâ‚‚ from industrial sources in the Port of Rotterdam for storage in depleted North Sea gas fields. Previously, Dorus Bakker held various positions at Maritime & Transport Business Solutions from October 2012 to September 2018, including Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Analyst, participating in international projects across multiple countries. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam, including an MSc in Supply Chain Management and an MSc in Economics & Business focused on Urban, Port, and Transport Economics.
