Marika Pauli (née Backman) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the passenger transport and hospitality sectors. Currently, Marika serves as the Head of Business Development & Conceptualization at Port of Helsinki Ltd, where the focus is on leading a commercial team in Europe's busiest passenger port to promote sustainable growth. Previously, Marika held several leadership roles at Finnair from 2002 to April 2019, notably as Head of Ancillary Product Development, significantly contributing to ancillary sales growth. Marika’s career includes key positions at Swiss International Air Lines, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and STA Travel, complemented by a Master of Science in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management from the University of Helsinki and further education at the University of West London.
