Roger Malki has an extensive work experience in the legal field. Roger started their career as an Associate at Freeborn & Peters LLP, where they provided legal counsel for commercial developers and handled transactional matters. Roger then joined the Alfardan Group as a Legal Director, where they established a fully-integrated legal department for a multi-billion Qatari riyal corporate entity. After that, they worked as a Senior Legal Advisor at Zahid Group, where they led legal due diligence efforts and drafted various agreements for acquisitions and joint ventures. Currently, they serve as the Legal Director at the Port of Duqm Company SAOC, where they head the legal function and is responsible for drafting port rules and regulations and general terms and conditions for terminal operations.

Roger Malki attended the Université de Montréal from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Michigan State University College of Law from 2000 to 2003, earning a Juris Doctorate degree with a specialization in Law.
