Mel Jacobs is an experienced professional with a focus on audit, risk management, and consultancy. Currently serving as an Independent Member on various Audit and Risk Committees across multiple councils including Bundaberg Regional Council, Fraser Coast Regional Council, and Port Macquarie Hastings Council, Mel Jacobs brings a wealth of expertise to local government. In addition to these roles, Mel Jacobs holds the position of Business Assurance Manager at City of Gold Coast and has been a Management Consultant for International and National Event Organisers since January 2019. Mel Jacobs is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, completing the program in 2010.
