Christophe Soulet has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Christophe is currently the General Manager and Founder of Soolay LLC, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and Board Member of Port It Global from 2017-2021. From 2016-2017, they were the Co-Founder and Principal of Caiman Communication, where they created and closed deals in Africa and Latin America for companies looking to sell their products. During the same period, they were also a Partner at KAB Telecoms Consulting, providing strategic and operational consulting in the area of Mobile Telecoms and Services in the emerging markets. From 2014-2016, they were the Executive Operations Director at Airtel Africa, leading and supporting English Africa. In 2013, they were the Director and Co-Founder of BIPB Middle East and also a Partner at KAB Consulting, providing strategic and operational consulting in the area of Mobile Telecoms and Services in the emerging markets. From 2007-2013, they held various positions at Millicom International Cellular (Tigo), including Chief Regional Officer Africa, Chief Regional Officer for Ghana, DRC and Chad, Chief Executive Officer for Ghana and DRC, and Chief Executive Officer for DRC. Finally, from 1995-2007, they were the Chief Operating Officer for a Business Unit, Chief Executive Officer, and Division Director at CFAO.
Christophe Soulet has a comprehensive educational background in the fields of telecommunications engineering, business management, and organizational leadership. In 1987-1990, they obtained a Telecom Engineer degree, BSc, MSc from Sup Galilée. In 1994-1995, they earned a Master in Business, Administration and Telecommunications from Télécom Bretagne, with a focus on telecoms, business management, law, accounting, finance, and project management. In 2009, they took the Achieving Strategic Agility program at London Business School, focusing on strategy in emerging markets. In 2010, they completed the Senior Executive Program at London Business School, with a focus on strategy, finance, communication, and executive leadership. Christophe also completed the High Performance Leadership Executive Program at IMD in 2010, focusing on leadership. In 2012, they completed the Executive Program on Leaders developing Leaders at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, focusing on organizational leadership. In 2014, they completed the Bharti Global Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, focusing on organizational leadership.
