Gary W. is a highly experienced development engineer specializing in battery applications and energy systems within the automotive industry. Currently employed at Porsche AG since January 2023, Gary works on battery management system (BMS) applications for new cell chemistries. Prior to this, Gary held prominent positions at Bentley Motors from June 2015 to December 2022, including System Responsible Lead for Energy Systems in battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and Technical Manager for high voltage systems, leading significant projects and technical roadmaps. Gary's earlier experience includes roles at Porsche AG, Zytek Engineering Ltd., and Flybrid Systems LLP, contributing to the design and development of high-performance engines and hybrid systems. An alumnus of the University of Bath with a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Gary possesses strong technical expertise and a solid educational background in the field.
