Vivi Zabkie has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades that includes marketing, journalism, and research. Vivi began their career at LSM ASPEK and then worked at Radio Maraghita before moving to the media industry. At Radio News Agency (KBR), they held several roles ranging from coordinator for regional and national coverage to head of the creative and marketing division. Vivi also worked at Media Lintas Inti Nusantara as a marketing manager before joining Katadata Insight Center (KIC) as a research manager. At KIC, they handled various research tasks, from small-scale to national studies, and developed the survey unit. Vivi later became the deputy head at KIC before being appointed head of social research at Populix. Vivi also hosted a religious tolerance-themed talk show on TV Tempo and worked for Asosiasi Permukiman Kooperatif (NGO).
Vivi Zabkie completed their Sarjana degree in Public Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran between 1995 and 2000. Prior to that, they attended SMAN 4 Bengkulu, though no specific dates or degrees were provided for that institution.
