Courtney Christou is an experienced project manager and research coordinator with a strong background in population health research. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the PHRI Population Health Research Institute affiliated with McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences since November 2021, Courtney previously held roles as a Senior Research Coordinator and Research Coordinator within the same organization from 2017 to 2021. Courtney’s career in research began as a Clinical Research Assistant at Hamilton Health Sciences from 2014 to 2017, alongside multiple positions as a Data Management Assistant at PHRI from 2012 to 2014. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Diploma in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Niagara College.
