Nils Heuer is a design engineer currently working at Poppe + Potthoff GmbH. Nils completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts between October 2018 and November 2020, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from September 2015 to October 2018. Prior to the current role, Nils served as a Master Thesis Student at Gebr. Brasseler GmbH & Co. KG, focusing on the development and realization of an automatic insertion machine for assembling metallic pins. Nils also engaged in a study project centered on designing an automatic bonding and joining machine. Additional experience includes factory and production planning at Intorq US Inc, where Nils enhanced assembly efficiency and optimized production processes, and working as an assistant in the material testing laboratory at Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Early experience included a role in mechatronic automation engineering at Beckhoff Automation.
