Eric Thompson is a seasoned professional in the field of civil engineering with extensive experience in transportation infrastructure. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of the Highway Design Group at Popli Design Group since July 2018, Eric is focused on contributing to the firm's growth. Prior to this role, Eric spent over 11 years as the State Director for Section 4 of the New York State Association of Transportation Engineers (NYSATE) and held the position of Project Engineer at the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for over 34 years. Eric was the lead designer on the significant $50 million interchange improvement project for the 390/490. Educationally, Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University, completed between 1979 and 1983.
