Elisabeth Björkman

Elisabeth Björkman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Elisabeth is currently the Director of Sales at Pop House Sweden since January 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of CEO at JB Travel AB from March 2012 to January 2020. Elisabeth was responsible for the company's results, business development, and personnel. Elisabeth also served as a Styrelseledamot at First Travel Group AB from April 2014 to December 2017. Additionally, they acted as the CEO at Ski Unlimited for a year from August 2016 to September 2017, concurrently with their role as CEO at JB Travel. Elisabeth's responsibilities at Ski Unlimited included managing a team of 9 Sales Managers/Project Leaders.

Elisabeth's earlier experience includes working at Nordic Choice Hotels from 2005 to 2012. During their time there, they held various positions, including Director of Sales Stockholm Region, Sales Manager Meetings/Key Account Manager, and Manager Conference Sales. In these roles, they were responsible for the hotel group's sales team in Stockholm, managing sales budgets, recruitment, training, and coaching. Elisabeth also contributed to the development of the hotel's conference and meeting offerings, conducted sales training, organized customer events, and implemented new sales structures for the hotels.

Before joining Nordic Choice Hotels, Elisabeth worked as a Sales Manager for Meetings & Events at Quality Hotel Statt from September 2003 to May 2005. Elisabeth started their career at American Express as a Project Manager from January 1999 to May 2003 and then worked as a Project Manager Incoming at Scandinavian Express from May 1995 to January 1999.

Elisabeth Björkman began their education in 1992 at IHM Business School, where they pursued a degree in Marknadsekonomi and completed their studies in 1994. In 2006, they attended Mercuri International and obtained a degree in Key Account Management. In 2009, they furthered their education at Mercuri International in the fields of Coachande ledarskap and UGL, Utveckling av Grupp Ledare, both specializing in leadership. Finally, in 2010, they attended Mercuri International again to complete a degree in Utvecklande ledarskap, once again focusing on leadership development.
