Moritz Ceulemans is a plant breeding expert with extensive experience in the horticultural industry. Currently serving as Head of Breeding at both Pop Vriend Seeds and KWS Vegetables since June 2020, Moritz previously held significant roles at Bejo Zaden as Crop Research Manager for Peppers and Eggplant and Pepper Breeder from November 2013 to June 2020. Moritz’s career includes owning a consulting business for responsible forest products at Houtzaam and plant breeding positions at Mak Breeding and De Jong Lelies Research. Early in the career, Moritz focused on seed conservation at Het Hof van Eden. Educational qualifications include an Ir degree in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University & Research and a BSc in Tropical Plant Production from Hogeschool Larenstein Deventer.
